What makes Julius Rose different?
Here at Julius Rose English Cockers, I make it my utmost concern to only breed health cleared and prestigious lineage. In addition, my dogs are not subject to kennel lifestyle or rehoming upon retiring. They and our puppies are kept indoors with us and raised in our home, and have our 1/2 acre fenced property for them to frolic. Our dogs get daily pack walks, often exploring our local parks and trails. Our puppy room is off our of kitchen, and I am home with them full time.
I do not dock my puppies tails and am not open to discussion.
This trait is done by many breeders in Canada to be CKC registered for showing purposes.
Our dogs, although they could show as registered dogs, will not be enrolled in the show ring.
Why? conformation is not my priority; the dogs' health and well being is. Their parents were in the show ring and won, that is good enough for me!
I am focusing to improve the breed by expanding their bloodlines by starting my own lineage in Canada through imported bloodlines from Europe and the UK.
Our dogs are all kept up to date on vaccines and preventatives
Please note, with the increase in the number of dogs in shelter and rescue, we will be keeping our program small to only accomodate a puppy waitlist and have 1-2 litters annually.
Place your trust in a Registered Veterinary Nurse
My name is Kiyoko Czibere and I have 10 years of in clinic veterinary medicine experience working in emergency, surgery, anesthesia and dentistry. I have some experience in referral practice and spent the majority of these years working in small animal general practice. Before this, I worked in a Global Pet Foods for a few years, falling in love with the aspect of pet nutrition and dog behaviour which is where I focused a lot of my continuing education.
I also am an independant pet rescuer, taking in accumulatively over 400 dogs since 2021 in Ontario from rural northern communities and culled puppy mill dogs. Operating under the name UItimutt Pet Rescue Inc. I have raised and whelped 12 litters in this time, all of which were husky, shepherd, malamute, northern mixed breeds that I intook their mothers as strays in need of vet care and proper nutrition.(They have all been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped and adopted into loving forever homes)
It was an incredible journey and with my experience and with this, I am certain I can provide the best care to my dogs, and our puppies. My goal is to be available to help all of my adopting families with any questions or concerns they may have, and share the love of this wonderful breed that is quite rare in Canada.
I am excited to finally start our breeding program here at Julius Rose English Cockers and share this beautiful breed!
